Journalist, writer, university professor, doctor, essayist, economist, enarque, researcher in philosophy, member of the CNRS, former ambassador, collaborator of the UN, former head of the international department of the CGT, former literary referent of ATTAC , deputy director of an institute for research on world development, attached to a ministry of foreign affairs, host of a radio program, host of a television channel, they are seventeen intellectuals, who talk to us here about China from Europe, South America, Africa, Asia.
This book is aimed at an audience that our media keeps in grave ignorance of China.
What many French people believe is that the Chinese Communist “regime”, whose THE language is Mandarin, makes children work, oppresses minorities, eradicates cultures, persecutes believers. Against the background of implicit racism, a negative image of this country and of a people who frighten (“the yellow peril”) has been built, even though China’s foreign policy, as defined by President Xi Jinping, is not based on a desire for world domination (contrary to that displayed by the United States of America), but on the notion of “community of destinies”. It is not a question here of blissfully praising China, of suggesting that France would do well to draw inspiration from its political, economic, media, police, military, judicial and trade union system. We have our own system, which can be improved. China has its own, over which we have little control, led by a now century-old Communist Party (born July 23, 1921) with 90 million members.
It is therefore not a question of positioning oneself as “pro-Chinese”, but as “pro-truth” by invalidating lies, by providing information on what is happening in China and which explains its dynamism. With: Tony Andréani, Badia Benjelloun, Ahmed Bensaada, Jean-Claude Delaunay, Yifan Ding, Bruno Drweski, Albert Ettinger, Bruno Guigue, Rémi Herrera and Long Zhiming, Jiaqi Hou, Tamara Kunanayakam, Romain Migus, Jean-Pierre Page, Eduardo Regalado , Maxime Vivas, Ruolin Zheng.
Preface by Mobo Gao.

The censorship of all the Russian media, a phenomenon which had no equivalent in France since at least the Algerian war, brings us back to the time of Anastasie’s scissors of the war of 14, “canards” for the rear and war propaganda, when it is precisely in these critical times that we need information the most.
Fortunately, unlike online media, the books are not — yet — burned in public. The seventeen authors of this book have therefore gathered here to take a critical look at our dominant media and restore the facts about today’s Russia, Russophobia, the war in Ukraine, its origins, the sanctions that are turning against us- same, the current monetary, political and geopolitical turning point.
This book does not exemplify the political system headed by Vladimir Putin. He is not pro-Russian, he is pro-truth. He does not advocate any war but reminds us, as Goya said, that “the sleep of reason gives birth to monsters” and that, more than ever, we need to analyze and understand.
Journalist, writer, university professors, doctor, essayist, enarque, professor of philosophy, professor of history, former ambassador, lawyer, collaborator of the UN, former head of the international department of the CGT, former literary referent of ATTAC, host of a radio show, host of a television channel, former member of a strategic intelligence service, these seventeen intellectuals from several continents have gathered here to talk to us and tear the veil of censorship .
This book brings together the contributions of: Francis Arzalier, Jacques Baud, Ana Bazac, Ahmed Bensaada, Régis de Castelnau, Viktor Dedaj, Bruno Drweski, Georges Gastaud, Bruno Guigue, Tamara Kunanayakam, Annie Lacroix-Riz, Aymeric Monville, Jean-Pierre Page , Elena Veduta, Maxime Vivas, Vladislav Sychev, Zheng Ruolin.
