This is what emerged from the bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and the President of the Democratic and People’s Republic of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune, which took place on the sidelines of the G7 meeting in Borgo Egnazia.
According to a note from Palazzo Chigi, during the meeting profound satisfaction was expressed for the excellent state of bilateral relations, particularly in the economic sphere where relations in the energy, agricultural and industrial sectors continue to develop. “The sustainable agriculture project is being adopted which will involve the Italian agro-industrial group controlled by Bonifiche Ferraresi SpA for the strategic concession of approximately 36 thousand hectares to be developed with agro-industrial activities in collaboration with Algerian partners.
