I have been in the international trade market for 30 years and this is the first time I see an Algerian governement encouraging producers to export I am solicited by governements and companies from all over the world but the country where I was born , never , only once on a conference about export and even that i was commissioned by French company tha was organising en exhibition in Algeria , when I arrived there governement officials did not even know i was Algerian , till I started talking to the minister of agriculture in Algerian dilect, but the conference was taken over by governement offical and used it as a public relation exercise to the country still behind and the economy is too regulated. Algeria can be the centre of production in light industry, the cost of production is low, a good infrastructures . an fantastic geo location, now there is a need for international marketing and public relation, Algeria won the olive oil contest in Dubai and nobody has talked about it in Algeria and Europe. if the country is serious about exporting they need to get their international marketeers out.

According to the Bank of Algeria, these amendments aim to promote exports, especially those linked to the knowledge economy. Thus, the measures introduced allow exporters to have all of their export earnings lodged in foreign currency accounts, for the needs of their activities and exempt from the obligation of bank domiciliation formalities exports of digital services. as well as those relating to the services of start-ups and non-commercial professionals.
The same source added that the new changes introduced in foreign exchange regulations aim not only to encourage the act of exporting, by allowing exporters to dispose of all the foreign exchange earnings generated by their activities. But also to capture, ultimately, stakeholders in the field of foreign trade in digital and online services, as well as non-commercial professionals. And this, with a view to their integration into a financial inclusion process.
