The President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic has highlighted, Monday, the historic role of Algeria in “the creation and support of the mission of the Non-Aligned Movement.
During the audience granted to the Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, Aïmene Benabderrahmane on the sidelines of its participation in the work of the summit of the Non-Aligned Movement in Belgrade, the Serbian President expressed his deep thanks to the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune “for the active and productive participation of Algeria in the Belgrade Summit.
The two parties reaffirmed their willingness to strengthen bilateral relations and examine ways and means to develop Algerian-Serbian cooperation in various fields, emphasizing the need to intensify coordination between the member countries of the NAM in order to meet current challenges and promote the role of the Movement as a partner weighing in international relations in accordance with the principles of NAM.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister conveyed the greetings of President Tebboune and his congratulations for the organization of this summit to strengthen cooperation between the member countries especially in the context of current challenges.
The Prime Minister, Aïmene Benabderrahmane represents the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune at the work of the Conference commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), opened this Monday in the Serbian capital.
