The goalkeeper of the Algerian national football team, Raïs Wahab M’bolhi, was elected as the “man of the match”, in the football epic game that opposed the “Greens” to the Moroccan national team, and whichwas won by Algeria after penalty kicks (5-3).
Theregular and extra time of the match ended with a draw (2-2) and Algeria won the game after penalty kicks (5-3), thus snatching its qualification for the semi-finals of the Arab Cup (FIFA 2021).
With this exciting victory, the Algerian national team joins the qualified teams for the last square of the Arab competition, after the teams of Egypt, Tunisia and Qatar respectively.
After the election of M’Bolhias the of man of the match, the Algerian national team will have added the third prize, after Bounedjah and Brahimi were chosen as the men of the match, which opposed the “greens” to Sudan and Lebanon, respectively.
The semi-final match scheduled for December 15 (20.00 h) at Al Thumama Stadium, the national team will face its Qatari counterpart, while the first semi-final match will oppose the Tunisian team and its Egyptian counterpart at Ras Abu Aboud Stadium at 16:00.
