The Algerian Petroleum Institute (IAP), part of Sonatrach, has signed a cooperation agreement, in the field of training, with the Tunisian Company of Refining Industries (STIR), with a view to establishing a partnership in the field of training related to hydrocarbons, a Sonatrach group press release said Saturday.
Signed on 1 February, the agreement between the two parties is the result of discussions between IPA officials and the Tunisian side, the same source said.
An implementation contract has also been signed as a concrete expression of this cooperation for training in the field of refining and maintenance, the document said, stressing that this training will take place on the site of STIR in Tunisia for its theoretical part and at the level of Sonatrach’s facilities in Algeria for the practical part.
