In its latest report, the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC) confirmed that Algeria is among the countries with “high reliability” in providing gas supplies to its customers.
And according to what was reported by the “Al-Shaab” public daily, this came in an “OAPEC” report on “developments of liquefied natural gas and hydrogen in the first quarter of 2022.”
The report indicated that “Algerian exports remained within their usual quarterly range. It ranges between 2.5 million tons and 3 million tons.”
The report also mentioned the new agreement concluded by Sonatrach with the Italian Eni. To increase Algerian gas exports through the Enrico Mattei pipeline, which connects Algeria with Italy via Tunisia.
An Italian report recommends relying on Algeria to free itself from Russian gas
