During this meeting, which took place yesterday, Wednesday, the CEO of Saidal complex confirmed that the complex will start the production of drugs directed at the treatment of cancer in partnership with the South Korean complex (CKD OTTO), suggesting that the central pharmacy of hospitals enter it as a partner in the project.
The Director-General of the Central Pharmacy for Hospitals stated that he would study the project data presented by Saidal Complex as a first step.
The same statement stated that this project would contribute to reducing the cost of importing drugs directed at the treatment of cancer, which cost the state exorbitant money.
On the occasion, Aoun referred to the role played by the central pharmacy for hospitals to encourage local production that would contribute to covering national needs.
