The President of the Libyan-Romanian Chamber of Commerce, Samir Al-Kawafi, revealed that Algeria, as a state and as an entity, no one can bypass its geopolitical and economic strategic position at the regional level, adding that the sister country, Algeria, is being harassed with unexploited potentials with regard to the economic sector and commercial exchanges.
Samir Al-Kawafi told Al-Khabar on the sidelines of his week-long visit to Algeria, at the invitation of the Union Investment, Studies, Communications and Services Company, that this visit came within the framework of working on developing a business strategy with the aim of doubling the volume of trade exchanges and economic cooperation between Libya and Algeria. During a working tour that led him to several states, he stood on a number of companies, factories and production units, stressing the great desire he touched in order to open joint commercial and economic horizons between businessmen and economic dealers in Libya and Algeria.
The head of the Libyan-Romanian Chamber of Commerce told Al-Khabar that he had held several joint working sessions at the level of the People’s National Assembly, as well as with Algerian investors, businessmen, lawyers and media professionals, adding that many deals and economic transactions would be concluded with his partners in Algeria. Especially as they are working in the field in order to prepare and organize an important economic and commercial event during the coming period.
Our interlocutor confirms that these efforts made by both parties came in order to give a strong impetus to the economic and trade relations between the two sisters, Libya and Algeria, and to develop a purposeful plan to adapt to the economic changes in the two countries and the North African region.
On the other hand, Raouf Bouterfa, General Manager of Al-Ittihad Company, explained that the invitation of Samir Al-Kawafi, President of the Libyan-Romanian Chamber of Commerce, came at the time, as he became an actual partner in Al-Ittihad and doing its work at the level of the State of Libya, where the two parties were able to conclude many agreements in the economic and commercial field An important program of work was also produced, which will soon be presented to the guardians.
