Swimmers Jawad Sayoud and Abdallah Arjoun presented Algeria, today, Sunday, with two new golds in the 15th African Swimming Championships, continuing in its fifteenth edition in Tunisia.
According to the national radio, Jawad Seoud dominated the 100-meter backstroke, breaking a new African record, and winning the second gold medal.
On the other hand, Abdullah Arjoun led the 200-meter backstroke race.
This brings Algeria’s tally, after two days of competitions, to 6 medals: 4 gold and 2 silver in a competition that includes the participation of 29 countries
