Today, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra, held a working session with the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Dr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, with the participation of the delegations of the two sides.
A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, today, Wednesday, that the discussions during this session focused on all aspects of the arrangements related to the upcoming Arab summit in Algeria on the second and second of November 2022, as well as international issues of concern to Arab affairs.
In this context, the Secretary-General of the Arab League praised Algeria’s efforts and the organizational ideas put forward in order to enable Arab leaders to share Algeria’s joys on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the outbreak of the liberation revolution, while at the same time drawing inspiration from this glorious history to crystallize an ambitious vision that rises to the level of the aspirations of the Arab peoples and responds effectively challenges posed by the current developments on the international scene.
In conclusion, the two parties agreed to continue and strengthen coordination in the coming stages to make this summit a success and make it an essential station in the process of joint Arab action.
