The Cubs of the Future Association for the Education of Mental Arithmetic, Programming and Robotics announced the participation of a team representing Algeria in the Arab Championship to be held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, from Fatih to July 4th.
The state of Tiaret bears the expenses of the participation of a delegation consisting of 10 elements to represent Algeria in this Arab championship for less than 17 years, after the governor of Tiaret, Mohamed Amin Darmachi, received this morning the children of the association after discovering their talents on the occasion of International Children’s Day, and according to the president of the association, Mr. Saed Abdaoui, This team qualified to participate in the Arab Championship in its 13th edition, after achieving first place in the national competition hosted by the city of Setif on May 7th, thanks to the model of creating a smart goods container.
Mr. Abdaoui continued by saying that Algeria is seeking to host an Arab championship in the future for the first time, after the State of Egypt has hosted 3 editions before, with the educational robot system “FLL.L”, which currently hosts the state of Batna as its national center, and supervises all national competitions by applying Globally applicable core values in evaluating the participants’ work.
The Future Cubs Association’s affiliates were 7 of them out of the top 10 in a competition that saw the participation of 440 participants from 25 states in programming on the subject of water.
