Confederation of African Football (CAF) has just taken action for the restructuring operation of the arbitration sector.
In this regard, heads have fallen, including in particular the Seychellois Eddy Mailletthe chairman of the arbitration commission, as well as the Egyptian Essam Abdel Fatahthe vice-president of the arbitration commission for the North Africa zone.
Other officials are in the crosshairs of the African football governing body and should be removed from their posts in the coming days.
This muscular intervention of Confederation of African Football (CAF) comes only a few days after the visit carried out by Patrice Motsepe to Algeria.
The strongman of CAF had promised the Algerian leaders to take the necessary measures to put African arbitration back on track.
As a reminder, the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) notably challenged the arbitration of the Gambian Bakary Gassamaduring the tussle facing the Cameroon, counting for the globalist roadblocks.
A great moral victory for the Algerians who ended up imposing their law, despite the presence of a very influential Moroccan lobby chaired by a certain Fouzi Lekjaathe strong man of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
