as kitesurfing becomes more popular in the country

JOURNALIST ASKING (French): “Are you facing any problems regarding taboos?
“No, not at all. In contrary, the vision has changed now and it is more encouraging. They encourage us to
start. I invite all women to try it.”
(SOUNDBITE) (French) PHARMACEUTICAL EMPLOYEE, KARIMA AITHAMI, SAYING: “You don’t have to be afraid of being judged. Honestly, in terms of society morals and culture, Algeria has changed during the past few years and everyone can practice the sport they want, be it kitesurfing, sailing or scuba diving. There is no prejudice honestly.”
