The Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, said Thursday in Algiers, that Algeria’s oil production will rise to one million and 39 thousand barrels / day next July, according to the decisions of the 29th ministerial meeting of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies from outside the organization, or what is known as the “OPEC +” group.
This rise comes in accordance with the decision of “OPEC +” taken today during its meeting through videoconference, which stipulates raising the total production volume of the group by 648,000 barrels in next July.
Algeria’s production is estimated to increase, according to this decision, by 17,000 barrels per day in the month of July, which will allow it to reach a production level of 1,039 million barrels per day in July, according to Mr. Arkab.
