The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain in Algeria, Fernando Moran, on Tuesday, hailed Algeria’s political and economic orientation, expressing his “optimism” about the future of relations between the two countries, a statement from the People’s National Assembly (APN) said.
During a meeting granted to him by the chairman of the APN’s Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Community Committee, Mohamed Hani, the Spanish Ambassador hailed the political orientation and economic development of Algeria” which is “a neighboring country, a friend and an important strategic partner for Spain”.
In this regard, he expressed his optimism for “a promising future for Algerian-Spanish relations, particularly in the economic, commercial and agricultural spheres”, the statement added.
The meeting constituted an opportunity for the Chairman of the Committee to review the state of friendly relations binding the two neighboring countries, stressing, in this context, the need to promote them, particularly at the parliamentary level.
He also called for further enhancing bilateral cooperation at all levels, in the best interests of both countries, concluded the same communiqué.
