The Cultural Foundation of the Opera of Algiers “Boualem Bessaih” announced today, Thursday, the organization of a national competition to select musicians and singers belonging to the Higher Institute of Music, regional institutes and musical accessories across the national territory from 20 to 24 September.
A statement on the official page of the “Opera Algeria” on Facebook stated that “in the framework of the reorganization of the symphony orchestra and vocal group affiliated with Opera of Algeria, and with the aim of searching for young musical and lyrical talents and for the purpose of strengthening the ranks of the orchestra and vocal group and developing them in terms of artistic programs; the Directorate General of Algiers Opera is organizing a selection competition for the benefit of musicians and singers belonging to the Higher Institute of Music, regional institutes and musical annexes across the national territory during the period from 20 to 24 September.
The same source indicated that the organization of a selection competition for the benefit of musicians and singers belonging to the Higher Institute of Music, regional institutes and musical annexes across the national territory will take place under the “supervision of a carefully selected jury made up of specialists in different fields of music and classical singing.”
