Passionate about nature, Andrew is constantly seeking out adventure and unique and engaging ways to capture what he sees to show “the magnificent world in which we live”. According to his biography, many of his works have been featured on renowned media, such as; National Geographic, BBC Earth, The Huffington Post, CBS News, and The Weather Channel.
Currently, Andrew is photographing for his upcoming book ‘Space to Roam’, a passion project which features an astronaut exploring the ‘otherworldly’ here on earth.
For this project, the young photographer spent two weeks in Algeria, more precisely in the Deep South. The beauty of the Algerian Sahara blew him away.
On his Facebook page, Andrew Studer posted some pictures along with a caption. The tone is unequivocal: his new album would be incomplete without the shots taken in Algeria.
“I knew from the moment I first stumbled upon the Algerian Sahara that my astronaut photo series Space to Roam would be incomplete without it.
I spent nearly two weeks exploring the beautiful desert out of an off road vehicle, camping out under the stars and hiking all around the alien-like landscape with my good friend Neils who came out from The Netherlands to wear the suit and help me out!
Algeria is such a beautiful country and I can’t wait to return!” he wrote on his official Facebook page.
