Crédit Populaire d’Algérie (CPA) will launch “in a week or two weeks at the latest” the “Mobile banking” application to allow customers to carry out banking transactions from a mobile phone for greater efficiency and speed in the management of their activities and affairs, announced Sunday the CEO of this public bank, Mohamed Dahmani.
In addition to the E-payment services and the e-banking platform already operational for the benefit of its customers, the CPA “plans to launch in 15 days at the latest, the Mobile banking application offering a series of advantages linked to mobility in particular, because allowing customers to execute financial transactions in a simple and flexible way, “Dahmani said in a statement to APS.
Reiterating the commitment of the CPA to “develop its services to better meet the requirements of fellow citizens”, the same official indicated that this public bank is working through a strategy adapting to the standards of modernization and digitization to offer modern, innovative and competitive services.
Regarding the service of Islamic finance, Mr. Dahmani indicated that in accordance with the deployment program adopted for this purpose, the products of this finance will be available in 100 bank branches under the CPA at the national level “by the end of June 2021 “.
Referring to the “great enthusiasm” seen for this Islamic financing formula, the same official indicated that this constitutes “a motivation to strengthen and further support the efforts made in this direction to reach the maximum of the citizens”.
