The Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister in charge of Micro-enterprise, Nassim Diafat chaired a technical meeting on Sunday where it was agreed to define the areas of investment of micro-enterprises in the agricultural sector and to create micro-enterprises to enhance agricultural and animal production, said a press release from this ministerial department.
The meeting was attended by directors and representatives of economic groups under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, represented by the Algerian Interprofessional Cereals Office (OAIC), the Algerian Red Meats Association (ALVIAR), the Valuation of agricultural products group (GVAPRO) and the rural engineering group, the same source said.
The objective of this meeting is to enable the owners of micro-enterprises to obtain commercial contracts and projects with large economic enterprises, but also to direct project leaders towards strategic sectors.
This meeting, which was attended by Mohamed Cherif Bouziane, manager of the National Agency for the Support and Development of Entrepreneurship (ANADE), as well as executives from the Ministry and the Agency, made it possible to define the areas of short-term investments, in particular the exploitation of inedible alcohol for the extraction of medical alcohol.
It was also decided to grant unexploited land at the level of pilot farms under the Ministry of Agriculture, by devoting part of this land to project leaders as well as to micro-enterprises activating in the agricultural field.
It was also agreed to create micro-enterprises within the slaughterhouses belonging to the Agro-Logistics Group “Agrolog” to recover and exploit the skins and wool of the herds, as well as to create points of sale for red and white meat in partnership with the Group, according to the press release.
In this regard, Mr. Diafat stressed the need to implement this program “as soon as possible”, which, according to him, will allow “the creation of new economic activities contributing to the development of agricultural and animal production available in Algeria, according to the same press release.
