On Tuesday, the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” in the Gaza Strip organized a vigil for scouts to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Algeria’s independence.
A number of young people and children participated in the vigil, which was organized by the movement in the Memorial Park of the Unknown Soldier in Gaza City.
The members of the scouting teams saluted the Algerian and Palestinian flags. The leader of the “Hamas” movement, Jamal Al-Aqili, congratulated Algeria on the anniversary of its independence.
In a speech during the sit-in, he said: “The cause of the struggling Algerian people is similar to the Palestinian cause of truth and justice, and he praised Algeria for embracing the Palestinian cause at all levels” political, cultural, popular and sports.
