Chahla Badrouh from Beida Borj city, in Setif province, won the gold medal in the World Robot Competition held last month in South Korea (2020-2021), the 17 years old genius competed with 400 participants from 14 countries.
The Director of the Robot Programming Education Center in Setif, Riad Azzouz, confirmed that Chahla Badrouh, a student at the center, was able to create a robot that works with on artificial intelligence and probabilities, which enabled her to win a gold medal in this world competition in front of competitors from Russia, Indonesia, Malaysia and others.
This one is specially designed to play the very famous puzzle game tic-tac-toe, also called tic-tac-toe or oxo. Thanks to the technology used, the machine can place its pieces intelligently so as to achieve an alignment of “X” or “O”. Just like the rules of the tic-tac-toe game require.
Chahla built also a mini robot called “smoli ” that performs multiple tasks such as drumming, playing golf and others that she participated with in the second section of the competition.
On the other hand, students Nazim esfiran (14 years old), Mohamed El Amin Atoui (15 years old), Younis Abdel Samie (15 years old) and Mohamed Dali (15 years old) from the same robotics center won the second prize in the same competition and were crowned with the silver medal after they were able to create a smart kids hospital, an idea developed at the center.
