Such a waste !
The post of president of the republic was within reach of a candidate backed by the hirak in 2019, in the dynamics of the time, including December 12, 2019.
It was enough to develop a program based on a few strong ideas: democracy, freedoms, rule of law, separation of powers, independence of the judiciary and freedom of the press.
A parliamentary majority in the spirit of the hirak was possible on June 12, 2021. It would have been necessary to prepare for it very early, to set up “networks of freedom” or “candidates of February 22”, with this same simple program .
Instead, ayatollahs released fetwas forbidding the hirak to organize, to structure itself, claiming that no one was allowed to speak on behalf of the hirak, while they themselves behaved like porters. word of fact and monopolized the expression in the name of the hirak.
The result: a huge mess, with power going around in circles, a country stagnating, an unstructured society, desperately empty institutions, and a tattered hirak.
You had to dare when the hirak was at its peak, to take risks. Instead, we have seen radicalism as stupid as it is suicidal, and the proliferation of stars, each cultivating a disproportionate ego. Some wanted to be the spokesperson for the people to negotiate with the army, others wanted to impose a transition, not to mention the specialists in refusal, those who think that with a Facebook account, you can bring down a power.
Such a waste !
