Algeria national team assistant coach Madjid Bougherra announced his squad for the upcoming 2021 FIFA Arab Cup in Qatar.
The FIFA Arab Cup is set to take place in Qatar between the 30th of November and the 18th of December of this year.
The tournament will include 22 Arab nations from both Africa and Asia, with three newcomers, namely Comoros, Somalia, and Djibouti.
The Algerian national team was drawn in Group D alongside Egypt, Lebanon, and Sudan, with the top two teams advancing to the quarter-finals.
Despite the exclusion of international stars such as Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimani, the Algerian national team is still a force to be reckoned with.
The squad included several well-known players from various Arab leagues, such as Baghdad Bounedjah and Amir Sayoud.
