The Algerian winger was in scintillating form throughout the month and has won the PFA fan vote as a result.
The poll, run in association with Vertu Motors and 90min.com, was open to all football supporters and saw Riyad collect thousands of votes to top the vote.
He has also won back-to-back Etihad Player of the Month awards for December and January, with his excellent form continuing into February.
The City winger – with five goal involvements in January – saw off the challenge of Newcastle duo Nick Pope and Dan Burn as well as Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka, Brighton’s Solly March and Manchester United’s in-form Marcus Rashford – all of whom were also nominated.
