N’DJAMENA – The Secretary General of the League of Ulema, Preachers and Imams of the Sahel (LOPIS) Lakhmissi Bezzaz, presented at the 15th international conference of the League, held in the Chadian capital, N’Djamena, a presentation on the main lines of the successful experience of Algerian National Reconciliation.
LOPIS organized its 15th international conference on Tuesday, with the participation of representatives of the eight member states, the president of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (CSAI) and the mufti of the Chadian Republic, as well as two Advisers to the Chadian President.
On this occasion, the president of the High Council of Islamic Affairs of the State of Chad, Mohamed Khater Aïssa, thanked Algeria, “which is a beacon of freedom and its Ulema of the League who shared the pioneering experience of their country in the field of national reconciliation with their Chadian brothers, who are preparing to organize a comprehensive national dialogue for peace and the establishment of the state on solid foundations”.
