ALGIERS- A group of national organizations and associations have asked President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, to eliminate intrusive associations taking advantage of their presence in France to spread hate speech and terrorism among Algerians and the State’s institutions to undermine the stability of Algeria.
“Following our meeting held on 22 August 2022 and on the occasion of the next visit of the French President to Algeria, we call on the President of the French Republic to put an end to intrusive associations, activating under the guise of democracy, the defense of human rights and freedom of expression, taking advantage of their presence in France to spread hate speech, violence and incitement to terrorism among Algerians and state institutions, with the aim of attacking the stability and security of Algeria, which will inevitably lead to a deterioration of the situation in North Africa and the Mediterranean basin,” the organization said in a statement.
“We ask the President of the French Republic to assume his responsibilities vis-à-vis these suspicious organizations supported by dirty money circles, international terrorist organizations and the neighbor of evil +Morocco+,” added the same source.
This approach is dictated by a concern to boost Algerian-French relations, on the basis of mutual trust and respect at the service of the future of the two peoples and their common interests, said the statement of this group of associations which expressed the wish to see the visit of President Macron, as well as his delegation, successful.
