Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, received, on Wednesday, 8 at the ministry headquarters, Nadia Hackanson, Director General of Siemens Energy for Africa.
According to a ministry statement, the two parties welcomed the strategic partnership that has been developed between Siemens Energy and the two national companies, Sonelgaz and Sonatrach, and the prospects for its strengthening, especially in the areas of transmission, electrical transmission and training.
The Minister of Energy and Mines emphasized, according to the same source, the new areas of cooperation that could lead to a win-win partnership with the transfer of knowledge and experience, especially with regard to engineering, studies and development of electrical networks and the development of renewable energies (wind energy and green hydrogen).
For her part, Hakanson expressed the great interest and readiness of Siemens Energy in strengthening cooperation and developing investment in Algeria in order to implement tangible and mutually profitable projects.
