Summons of journalists by the DGSI
“In France the journalist is not above the law”. He can be heard by the competent services and account for his actions…
On the other hand “In Algeria, the journalist is above the law, and he can denounce this procedure which he considers unfair which in no way leads to his accountability. Admittedly, it is covered by the “confidential defense”, but what its funding resources reveal is information of public interest and national defense.
Consequently, facilitate the presence of the implicated journalist and the presentation of his testimony in person. If necessary, using the same means as they normally use the services of the DGSI in the world to communicate with their interlocutors.
Why interview journalists if it is not to condemn them?
There are two interests: the first, for them, is to find the sources of journalists. Second interest: once again send a message to the journalists’ sources, telling them: “We are going to hunt you down! We will look for you if you inform the chancelleries of European capitals of state secrets”. And finally, it is also a question of directly intimidating investigative journalists or settling scores between rival political and economic groups, for which certain media act as mercenaries.
Who is bullying in this case?
In any case, there is clearly a will displayed today on the part of crooked journalists, to intimidate security and judicial officials who dare to investigate independent media and a free press subject to corruption.
At this level, it is not difficult to know. The legal proceedings are being carried out by the Algiers public prosecutor’s office. Represented by an independent Prosecutor who initiates and conducts legal proceedings before the criminal court.
By way of illustration, I have attached an investigation which was opened by the Paris public prosecutor’s office for “compromising the secret of national defense” after the transmission to a media of a note classified as “confidential defense” evoking the use of French weapons in Yemen.
This investigation was initiated on December 13, 2018 following a complaint from the Ministry of the Armed Forces, and the investigations were entrusted to the General Directorate of Internal Security (DGSI).
This series is infinitely more important for those who seek the truth and want to understand analyzes and discoveries on subjects as diverse as they are exciting in the role of both justice and the DGDSI.
Above all, do not hesitate to make the comparison and the parallel with “the case of Kadi Ihssan and the three French journalists interviewed” you will see a once blurred world has become crystal clear.
I am against the settling of accounts, but I think that we must be accountable. Let justice do its job in a serene manner, not complacency with anyone. Those whose responsibility has been proven must pay according to the law whether they are journalists, businessmen or corrupt politicians. Let things be done in a regular and serious manner. The battle against the American and European spooks is going to be tough.
Thank you for your efforts and your intelligence!
