ALGIERS- The 21st edition of the International Tourism and Travel Fair (SITEV) will be held from September 29 to October 2 in Algiers, after a two-year suspension due to the Covid-19 pandemic, said, Wednesday, a press release from the Exhibition Curator.
This Fair, which “will see the participation of a large number of local and foreign operators, is an opportunity for the general public to discover new holiday offers”, noted the press release, while underlining that this edition is organized “on the eve the launch of the Saharan tourism season”.
Recalling that this international event is one of the “main tourist events organized periodically in Algeria”, the same source pointed out that it is also “a meeting where tourist operators and actors will be able to present their offers, share their experiences, and establish professional relationships”.
Organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts in collaboration with the World Trade Center Algeria, this edition will take place at the central pavilion of the “Pins Maritimes” exhibition center (Algiers).
SITEV is the largest and most important tourism and travel fair in Algeria, as it displays many local and international tourist attractions as well as travel destinations. It also represents an opportunity for exchanges between exhibitors and tourism professionals such as Tour Operators, Travel Agencies, Hoteliers, Airlines, and other stakeholders involved in the tourism industry.
