Tunisia fires: the Algerian Civil Protection begins its duties

The first Algerian civil protection teams moved their missions in Tunisia to put out the fires that broke out in Mount Bouqrnine, each of the states of Tebessa, Constantine, Souk Ahras, Annaba, Mila, Valma, Khenchela, El Tarf, Batna and Oum El Bouaghi.

Two large helicopters belonging to the Air Force also headed towards Tunisia, in addition to 25 large fire trucks.

Algeria harnessed a medical ambulance and four driving cars with the dispatch of 80 members of the civil protection elements of various ranks, while the Civil Protection announced that 80 percent of the equipment and members of the Algerian civil protection entered Tunisian territory

 

Kais Saied thanks Algeria

Today, Wednesday, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received a phone call from his Tunisian counterpart, Kais Saied, according to a statement by the Presidency of the Republic.

The Tunisian President expressed his sincere thanks and high appreciation for the speed with which Algeria responded in delivering supplies to Tunisia to help put out the fires that broke out in the forests, praising the spirit of brotherhood and permanent solidarity between the two brotherly peoples, adding the same statement.

Tunisian-Algerian joint efforts to contain and put out the fires

The Tunisian government announced the continuation of the joint efforts of the Tunisian and Algerian civil protection to put out the fires, and Miq expressed its gratitude to Algeria, following the dispatch of support and support to help extinguish the fires that touched Jebel Boukarnaine near the capital, Tunis.

A statement by the Tunisian Foreign Ministry stated that “the Tunisian-Algerian joint efforts continue in joint and tight coordination in order to reach to contain the fire and put it out completely in all the areas where it broke out.”

“Tunisia expresses its deep thanks and deep gratitude to the brotherly Algeria leadership, government and people for their quick response to support the great national effort made by the civil protection and the national army to confront the fires that broke out last night, July 20 in Jebel Boukernin, by strengthening the national capabilities with material equipment represented in 26 fire trucks and two planes Two columns to extinguish the fires, in addition to the reinforcement of the civil protection crew with 71 Algerian firefighters.

The statement stated that this step and endeavor “is not strange to our two brotherly countries, this tide of solidarity that brought them together throughout their common history, and it has been strengthening today on all occasions, good or bad, as an extension of the depth and strength of the brotherly ties between the two brotherly peoples and a translation of the common will and sincere determination of the leaders of the two countries. To elevate bilateral relations to the best levels in the framework of joint cooperation based on solidarity and belief in a unified destiny, taking into account the history of a common struggle.

Tunisian President Kais Saied had made a phone call with President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to express his gratitude after urgently directing planes and firefighting trucks to support Tunisia’s efforts to confront the fire that erupted in Jebel Boukernin in the southern suburbs of Tunis, which was brought under control.
