Revealed: the airlines with the best in-flight food<\/span><\/h3>\n

MoneySuperMarket have analysed a staggering 27,000 passenger reviews to see which operator\u2019s in-flight meals are first-class<\/span><\/p>\n

There are loads of factors that can make a flight unbearable: long\u00a0delays<\/a>, a\u00a0lack of legroom<\/a>,\u00a0even sitting\u00a0next\u00a0to someone you don\u2019t want to<\/a>.\u00a0But having to make do with a claggy microwaved meal can make\u00a0that long-haul journey\u00a0feel ten times longer.<\/span><\/p>\n

In-flight meals have got a bit of a bad rep,\u00a0but if you fly with the right airline, you might be pleasantly surprised. And thanks to a new study from comparison website\u00a0MoneySuperMarket<\/a>, we\u00a0can shed some light on the operators who know how to pack some flavour.<\/span><\/p>\n

The comparison website analysed a staggering 27,000 customer reviews of over more than 100 airlines to see which have the best on-board meals, and the results are in.<\/span><\/p>\n

Claiming the top spot with an impressive average score of 8.6 out of 10 across all cabin classes was\u00a0Kuwait Airways<\/strong>, which offers a range of food from multi-course options in economy to lobster and beef in their \u2018Royal Class\u2019 service.<\/span><\/p>\n

In second place it was\u00a0Oman Air<\/strong>\u00a0which scored 8.44 and in third it was\u00a0Middle Eastern Airlines<\/strong>\u00a0which scored 8.39. In fact, airlines based in the Middle East did very well across the board, with other operators such as\u00a0Qatar Airways<\/strong>,\u00a0Emirates<\/strong>,\u00a0Etihad<\/strong>, and\u00a0Gulf Air<\/strong>\u00a0all scoring at least 7.4 on average.
