Lake Tunga is located 4 km away from the city of El Kala in the state of El Tarf, in Algeria. Lake Obeira is located in the south and Lake El Mallah is to the west.<\/p>\n
They form with these two lakes as well as the bird lake, The National Nature Preserve of El Kala which is close to the Mediterranean Sea, is also another unique lake filled with various types of trees and plants and contains animal and plant species, such as cork, pine and sea flora, which are designated areas of the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands.<\/p>\n
Tonga Lake has various animal species in terms of shape, habitat and size. The most prominent of these is the pink flamingo that comes from Kenya to spend winter in Algeria, and the lake receives large numbers of flora each year, including the European gorse, and the iron duck.<\/p>\n
