{"id":1926,"date":"2020-10-10T09:23:55","date_gmt":"2020-10-10T09:23:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jazairhope.org\/comment-les-communautes-ecossaises-detruisent-les-anciens-monopoles-fonciers\/"},"modified":"2020-11-06T17:08:11","modified_gmt":"2020-11-06T22:08:11","slug":"comment-les-communautes-ecossaises-detruisent-les-anciens-monopoles-fonciers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jazairhope.org\/en\/comment-les-communautes-ecossaises-detruisent-les-anciens-monopoles-fonciers\/","title":{"rendered":"Algeria ranked 1st Maghreb country and 3rd African country with a high Human Development Index (HDI)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-transform: initial;\">Par <\/span>R\u00e9daction AE<span style=\"text-transform: initial;\"> &#8211;<\/span><span style=\"text-transform: initial;\">24 d\u00e9cembre 2019 \/ 14 :43<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"td-post-content\">\n<div class=\"td-post-featured-image\"><a class=\"td-modal-image\" href=\"https:\/\/www.algerie-eco.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/ardis.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\"  data-caption=\"\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"entry-thumb td-animation-stack-type0-2\" title=\"ardis\" src=\"https:\/\/www.algerie-eco.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/ardis.jpg\" alt=\"Indice de d\u00e9veloppement humain (IDH) : L'Alg\u00e9rie 82\u00e8me sur 189 pays\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Algeria<\/strong>\u00a0was ranked\u00a0<strong>1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0Maghreb country<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>3rd African country<\/strong>\u00a0with a high Human Development Index (HDI), according to the latest annual report of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) on the world ranking of countries.<\/p>\n<p>In Africa, Algeria was ranked behind Seychelles (62<sup>nd<\/sup>) and Mauritius (66<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0in the world).<\/p>\n<p>At the Arab level, Algeria comes in 7<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0position, surpassed by the United Arab Emirates (35<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0place worldwide), Saudi Arabia (36<sup>th<\/sup>), Qatar (41<sup>st<\/sup>), Bahrain (45<sup>th<\/sup>), Oman (47<sup>th<\/sup>) and Kuwait (57<sup>th<\/sup>).<\/p>\n<p>Globally, Algeria was classified in the HDI category, high in\u00a0<strong>82<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0position out of 189 countries<\/strong>\u00a0rated by the UNDP, with an index of 0.759, thus gaining three (3) places compared to the 2018 ranking ( 85<sup>th<\/sup>).<\/p>\n<p>The top of the world ranking is respectively occupied by Norway and Switzerland in 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0and 2<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0positions respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The UNDP report draws four categories of countries in its classification, between countries with low human development index (HDI less than 0.550), countries with medium human development (HDI between 0.550 and 0.699), countries with high human development (HDI between 0.700 and 0.799) and countries with very high human development (HDI greater than 0.800).<\/p>\n<p>The HDI ranking assesses the level of human development in countries based on various forms of data, including, among other things, the education level of the population, health and income.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Par R\u00e9daction AE &#8211;24 d\u00e9cembre 2019 \/ 14 :43 Algeria\u00a0was ranked\u00a01st\u00a0Maghreb country\u00a0and\u00a03rd African country\u00a0with a high Human Development Index (HDI), according to&hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":1944,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":true,"template":"","format":"video","meta":{"_lmt_disableupdate":"","_lmt_disable":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[12,4,6],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1926","post","type-post","status-publish","format-video","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-economy","category-featured-articles","category-latest-articles","post_format-post-format-video"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
