{"id":20513,"date":"2021-06-18T13:10:01","date_gmt":"2021-06-18T13:10:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jazairhope.org\/?p=20513"},"modified":"2021-06-18T13:10:01","modified_gmt":"2021-06-18T13:10:01","slug":"seawater-desalination-four-plants-to-be-commissioned-in-algiers-tipasa-before-end-of-august","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jazairhope.org\/en\/seawater-desalination-four-plants-to-be-commissioned-in-algiers-tipasa-before-end-of-august\/","title":{"rendered":"Seawater desalination: Four plants to be commissioned in Algiers, Tipasa before end of August"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Source:\u00a0 APS.dz\u00a0 16 June 2021<\/p>\n<p>Four seawater desalination plants in Algiers and Tipasa, which are currently been renovated will be commissioned in late August 20, said the Ministry of Water Resources in a report.<br \/>\nThe plants are located in the resorts of Palm-Beach whose rate of progress is currently around 60%, Bou-Ismail (rate of 59%), Z\u00e9ralda (rate of 50%) and Ain Benian (rate 45%), said the ministry in its activity report for the first half of 2021 published on its website.<br \/>\nThus, the Palm-Beach plant should be put into service on June 30, that of Bou-Ismail on July 15, while the entry into service of the stations of Z\u00e9ralda and Ain Benian is scheduled for, respectively, July 30 and 20 August.<\/p>\n<p>The four plants have an overall capacity of 37,500 m3 \/ day, according to the same source.<br \/>\nThe renovation and extension of these four plants is part of an emergency programme affecting 18 provinces most affected by the water deficit.<br \/>\nAs part of this emergency program, 70 wells were commissioned during the first half of 2021, developing a flow rate of 81,000 m3 \/ d, while 13 other Drinking Water Supply (DWS) projects are experiencing a \u201d good rate of progress \u201c, the reception of which will take place before June 30th.<br \/>\nThe impact of these achievements will contribute to improving the water supply for the benefit of a population of nearly 5 million inhabitants during the summer season.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Source:\u00a0 APS.dz\u00a0 16 June 2021 Four seawater desalination plants in Algiers and Tipasa, which are currently been renovated will be commissioned in&hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":70,"featured_media":20514,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_lmt_disableupdate":"","_lmt_disable":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[15,12,4,9],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-20513","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-algeria","category-economy","category-featured-articles","category-science"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
