The Higher School of Mathematics and the Higher National School of Artificial Intelligence, which will open their doors to new students next October for the academic year 2022\/2021, will offer an elite training that meets international standards in these two specialties known for their importance in the technological and economic development of the country.<\/p>\n
The two schools located in the technological pole of Sidi Abdallah (west of Algiers), which were created by a presidential decree, will enhance the Algerian higher education sector, especially in the field of technology, especially that they have a capacity to accommodate 1,000 students.<\/p>\n
In this regard, the Director-General of Education and Training at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Boualem Saidani Louaj, indicated that \u201cthe higher education sector will be supported by the two schools,\u201d adding that \u201cthey are endowed with all the conditions and equipment to ensure a good beginning of the academic year on October 03, 2021.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mr. Saidani highlighted, \u201cThe two mentioned schools are characterized by a national character and the creation by presidential decree, which reflects the extent of the interest that President Abdelmadjid Tebboune grants to this technological pole, which we aspire to run as a real locomotive for the technological development of our country.\u201d<\/p>\n
As for training and pedagogical curricula, Mr. Saidani sterssed that \u201cthe scheduled pedagogical curricula for education and training, were prepared by a team of distinguished experts, with the contribution of the Algerian community living abroad,\u201d adding that \u201cthe training is a qualitative training that meets international standards with an extension in the labor market.\u201d<\/p>\n
With regard to cooperation, the Director of University Cooperation and Exchanges at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Arezki Saidani, explained that \u201cthe two schools will be supported through a foreign partnership concluded in a first stage, with five countries that have realized the possible benefits of developing and applying artificial intelligence and that have recorded great progress in this field.\u201d including China, the United Kingdom, Japan, France and the United States of America.<\/p>\n
He added that this foreign support aims to \u201cmake the two schools, poles of excellence at a world-class level,\u201d noting that the goal of the foreign partnership aims in particular to \u201cdevelop pedagogical and educational applications that respond to international standards and allow students to obtain quality training and exchange information and best practices regarding the education strategy of these two specialties\u201d.<\/p>\n
