Algeria has a sizeable fleet to strengthen its services relating to the carriage of passengers by sea and use in the best possible way its marine tourism potential, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance A\u00efmene Benabderrahmane said Thursday in Algiers.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Supervising the commissioning of the ship “Badji Mokhtar III,” Benabderrahmane told reporters that Algeria had three new ships, and others “to be optimally exploited, especially in the transport of passengers between the two shores of the Mediterranean, before moving towards new destinations in Africa and Asia, and if possible, the Hajj and Umra (pilgrimage to the holy sites of Islam).”<\/p>\n

Calling “Badji Mokhtar III” a floating city providing five-star services, the Prime Minister stressed the need to use this ship in the best way, to preserve it in order to give a better image of Algeria and allow it to join the international tourist circuits, as is the case of several countries in the Mediterranean.<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Algeria has “all the required means to access these circuits and use its tourism potential” as it should be, he stressed.<\/p>\n

He noted that “young graduates of the best hotel schools in Algeria and the best marine schools in Africa will manage the ship.”<\/p>\n
