The Minister of Trade and Export Promotion, Kamel Rezik, said on Wednesday in Algiers that several partnership agreements have been concluded between Algerian economic operators and their American counterparts, noting that the agreements concern several priority sectors, most notably agriculture, reclamation and industry.<\/p>\n

In a joint press conference with the US ambassador to Algeria, Elizabeth Moore Aubin, organized on the sidelines of the 53rd edition of the Algiers International Fair, the minister said that on Wednesday, several agreements were concluded between Algerian dealers and their American counterparts, which will be implemented in the field. In several priority sectors, most notably agriculture, reclamation, industry and railways, which \u201cgive the utmost importance to investments that achieve food security.\u201d<\/p>\n

In this regard, the establishment of the Algerian-American joint project for the production of animal feed was signed between \u201cAgro-Plus Algeria\u201d and the American company \u201cAgri International L.L.C\u201d for the production of agricultural fodder on an area of \u200b\u200b3,300 hectares in the Wilayat of Manea using proven American methods and advanced technologies. In the cultivation, fertilization, harvesting and storage of grain and the manufacture of animal feed, the project aims to reduce imports of grain and feed products.<\/p>\n
