Djama\u00e2 el Djaza\u00efr is located 10 kilometers east of Algiers and one kilometer from the Mediterranean Sea
\nLocated in the commune of Mohammadia. The locality is still called “La vigerie”.<\/p>\n

It can accommodate 120,000 worshipers and has a 265m high minaret, making it the tallest in the world.
\nIt includes several independent buildings, arranged on a plot of approximately 20 hectares with a gross area of \u200b\u200bmore than 400,000 m2, in Mohammadia, east of the capital, facing the Bay of Algiers.<\/p>\n
The mosque has a 2,000-seat library, a research center on the history of Algeria, a museum of Islamic art and history, a conference room, a parking for 6,000 vehicles. This covered car park, on two levels, is located in the basement of the esplanade. It has an esplanade and several gardens. In addition, we can note the presence of an amphitheater, a 300-room hotel, several seminar rooms, scientific spaces, a shopping center, restaurants, a leisure park and several administrative buildings.<\/p>\n
