This is the fiber optic cable linking Algiers and Ain Guezzam (border with Niger) and another section going as far as Tindouf (border with Mauritania), thus testifying to Algeria’s commitment to materialize this strategic project for the region, he mentioned.<\/p>\n
This project, which operates in parallel with that of the trans-Saharan highway, aims to connect to the Internet all the towns through which its route passes, particularly isolated areas, and will thus contribute to reducing development imbalances in the region, a- he explained.<\/p>\n
