{"id":59021,"date":"2022-08-06T14:05:59","date_gmt":"2022-08-06T13:05:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jazairhope.org\/?p=59021"},"modified":"2022-08-06T14:05:59","modified_gmt":"2022-08-06T13:05:59","slug":"unesco-six-algerian-files-under-study","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jazairhope.org\/en\/unesco-six-algerian-files-under-study\/","title":{"rendered":"Unesco: six Algerian files under study"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"jeg_meta_author\"><span class=\"meta_text\">BY<\/span>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fourals.com\/author\/admin\/\">BRENTON HERRERA<\/a><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_meta_date\">\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fourals.com\/2022\/08\/05\/%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%ae%d8%a8%d8%b1-unesco-six-algerian-files-under-study\/\">August 5, 2022<\/a><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Six files of Algerian material cultural property, oasis and urban sites, thematic routes or even ancient funerary monuments, appear on the indicative list of Unesco, in a provisional statement of the properties to be proposed for inclusion in the World Heritage of the \u2018humanity.<\/p>\n<div id=\"quads-ad84343\" class=\"quads-location quads-ad84343 \"><\/div>\n<p>The files of \u201cfoggara oases and ksour of the Grand Erg Occidental\u201d, \u201cAugustinian sites, places and routes of the central Maghreb\u201d, \u201cNedroma and the Trara\u201d, \u201cOued Souf\u201d, \u201cThe Royal Mausoleums of Numidia, Mauretania and pre-Islamic funerary monuments\u201d, as well as the \u201cAur\u00e8s Park with the oasis establishments of the Rhoufi and El Kantara gorges\u201d appear, as stipulated in the 1972 Convention, on the indicative list of Unesco.<\/p>\n<div id=\"quads-ad84343\" class=\"quads-location quads-ad84343 \"><\/div>\n<p>In the register of good practices, Unesco has highlighted the \u201cdevelopment program for the historic city of Beja\u00efa\u201d, the program for the sustainable management of world heritage launched in Constantine in 2002, programs for the safeguarding, development and promotion of traditional building techniques in the M\u2019zab Valley as well as local awareness and learning programs held in Djemila and Tlemcen.<\/p>\n<div id=\"quads-ad84343\" class=\"quads-location quads-ad84343 \"><\/div>\n<p>For more than twenty years, Algeria has also had a legal instrument, law 98-04, whose purpose is to define the cultural heritage of the Nation, and to enact the general rules for its protection, its safeguard and its development, allowing, moreover, the definitive classification of hundreds of sites and cultural goods in the national and local register.<\/p>\n<div id=\"quads-ad84343\" class=\"quads-location quads-ad84343 \"><\/div>\n<p>The Algerian State, represented by the Ministry of Culture and the Arts in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, has also carried out a project to preserve biodiversity of global importance and the sustainable use of ecological system services in Algerian cultural parks.<\/p>\n<div id=\"quads-ad84343\" class=\"quads-location quads-ad84343 \"><\/div>\n<p>This project was carried out over ten years in partnership with the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in the five cultural parks created since independence.<\/p>\n<p>Fourals.com<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BY\u00a0BRENTON HERRERA &nbsp;
