Algeria is developing on several macroeconomic axes, over the last two years, thanks to an adapted and judicious economic policy.\u00a0The observation is not that of an Algerian expert, or of the Prime Minister, nor even of a government minister.\u00a0These are reports from international organizations specializing in certain economic, financial, entrepreneurial sectors, etc.\u00a0Regularly, specialized international organizations, all disciplines combined, publish periodicals ranking countries in different categories of activities.\u00a0Several new reports confirm this progression of the national economy, at least, in two distinct branches.\u00a0The latest two reports focus on start-ups and the business climate on the African continent, where Algeria seems to be gaining a few additional points.\u00a0For the first part, Algeria improves its score, compared to previous years, thanks to the number of start-ups created and the ecosystem supporting them.\u00a0Algeria is very close behind Nigeria in this African top, with 800 active start-ups, compared to 803 in Nigeria, thanks to the prospective policy and the vision of the President of the Republic.\u00a0It is the start-up Yassir which sits by far, on the top Algeria with more than 66 points, compared to the 38 start-ups retained in the listing of the \u201cStart-up Ranking\u201d site.\u00a0The choice of start-ups is based on its importance on the Internet and its social influence.\u00a0Two vectors are combined, to result in the choice of start-ups that have shone on the African top.\u00a0Yassir is closely followed by \u201cSiames QCM\u201d, an e-training platform intended for Algerian medical students and those preparing for the residency exam.\u00a0Other start-ups are also selected, but remain quite far from the first selected.\u00a0This requires more effort and innovation, from a management point of view, but also from the support side, which must be further improved.<\/span>
\nThis saves them a lot of time and money, but most importantly, it helps them be more organized in their work.\u00a0On another note, Algeria is also ranked, several times, in the African Top 10 in different fields of activity.\u00a0The very latest report being that of the American \u201cInsider Monkey\u201d which ranks Algeria seventh on the continent, in terms of security and serene climate in the practice of business and commercial activities, in Africa in 2023. The report motivates this ranking by the improvement of the general business climate in the country, following the promulgation of new incentive and permissive laws, but also the reduction of the dangers resulting from economic activities, following political stability, among others.\u00a0The site based its approach on the report of the prestigious \u201cThe Oxford Economic Report\u201d, which provided a certain number of elements of information and data on the economy of Algeria, in particular the investment aspect. direct FDI, in relation to the updating of legislation.\u00a0\u201cBusiness Insider\u201d on the basis of a survey carried out on the state of electronic commerce in Africa has once again ranked Algeria in the African Top 10.\u00a0Thanks to business e-commerce indices, Algeria makes a historic leap to 4th place in Africa, in terms of openness and predisposition to e-commerce.\u00a0Algeria is also in the Top 10 of the largest rich Arab countries, through the evolution of its GDP estimated at 4,480, according to the IMF which published this ranking last May on its website.\u00a0Another ranking propels Algeria to the Top 10 of the major OPEC countries in terms of hydrocarbon liquefaction.\u00a0It is the Nigerian site specializing in \u201cVanguara\u201d issues which places Algeria in sixth position among oil-producing countries.\u00a0Algeria having recorded growth of 3%, according to the site, with a production of 644,000 barrels\/day in 2022, while it was only 614,000 in 2020. There are still other rankings reports which give the gives pride of place to different sectors of the national economy, but which the media and communication landscape does not exploit sufficiently.<\/span><\/p>\n
