Consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme les maillons cl\u00e9s dans le d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique du pays, les ports ont vu leur gestion s\u2019am\u00e9liorer et leurs projets d\u2019extension et de modernisation s\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es.<\/strong><\/p>\n

C\u2019est le cas des plus importants ports du pays, en l\u2019occurrence ceux d\u2019Oran et de Djen Djen (Jijel), qui ont connu plusieurs am\u00e9liorations dans leurs services, en facilitant les op\u00e9rations d\u2019import et export aux op\u00e9rateurs \u00e9conomiques du pays, tout en modernisant leurs syst\u00e8mes de traitement des conteneurs et engageant des travaux d\u2019extension et de modernisation de leurs \u00e9quipements.<\/p>\n

Le port d\u2019Oran dispose d\u2019un terminal conteneur de 23 ha avec une capacit\u00e9 de 22 000 conteneurs EVP (20 pieds) avec une perspective d\u2019extension du terminal \u00e0 50 ha d\u2019ici 2050, a indiqu\u00e9 son PDG, Nacer Chareb, lors de son intervention \u00e0 la radio nationale. Cette extension \u00abva augmenter la performance du port au niveau national et permettre de d\u00e9velopper les \u00e9changes commerciaux au niveau national, mais surtout au niveau r\u00e9gional pour la zone de l\u2019ouest du pays\u00bb, ajoute le m\u00eame responsable.<\/p>\n

A fin d\u00e9cembre 2023, le port d\u2019Oran a trait\u00e9 3490 conteneurs pleins et plus 66 000 conteneurs vides, a fait savoir le m\u00eame responsable, soulignant que pour les exportations, plus de 3,4 millions de tonnes de marchandises ont \u00e9t\u00e9 trait\u00e9es l\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, gr\u00e2ce aux 15 quais dont 22 postes \u00e0 quai sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 mis \u00e0 la disposition de l\u2019OAIC pour faciliter les op\u00e9rations \u00e0 l\u2019import des c\u00e9r\u00e9ales, en plus des quais sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s pour l\u2019exportation du ciment et clinker.<\/p>\n

Concernant les facilitations apport\u00e9es par les services de la gestion du port d\u2019Oran, le premier responsable de cette infrastructure a indiqu\u00e9 que de grands efforts ont \u00e9t\u00e9 fournis par les services concern\u00e9s, notamment en mati\u00e8re de num\u00e9risation pour encourager et accompagner les op\u00e9rateurs \u00e9conomiques \u00e0 acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer les op\u00e9rations au niveau du port. \u00abLes syst\u00e8mes de gestion num\u00e9rique attach\u00e9s au minist\u00e8re des transports et aux services douaniers permettent d\u2019effectuer plusieurs op\u00e9rations \u00e0 distance, notamment la mise \u00e0 quai et les d\u00e9clarations des compagnies maritimes\u00bb, pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 le m\u00eame responsable.<\/p>\n

Djen Djen pourra recevoir des navires de 6000 conteneurs<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pour sa part, Abdeslem Bouab, PDG du port de Djen Djen (Jijel), qui intervenait aussi \u00e0 la radio nationale, a expliqu\u00e9 que la modernisation du port \u00aba n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 un financement de 65 milliards de dinars pour d\u00e9velopper le terminal de conteneurs du port, dont 25 milliards DA consacr\u00e9s aux infrastructures de bas, et 20 milliards pour les infrastructures au niveau des quais et 20 milliards pour l\u2019acquisition des \u00e9quipements modernes\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Il est ainsi pr\u00e9vu, selon le m\u00eame responsable, la construction d\u2019un nouvel espace de stockage et un r\u00e9seau de stations logistiques pour un budget de plus de 2,5 milliards de dinars en plus d\u2019acquisition d\u2019\u00e9quipement de chargement sophistiqu\u00e9 permettant de passer le chargement des marchandises de 8000 t actuellement, \u00e0 24 000 t par jour pour chaque navire.<\/p>\n

Pour le terminal des conteneurs, le PDG a soulign\u00e9 que les travaux d\u2019extension seront achev\u00e9s \u00e0 la fin 2025, ce qui permettra au port de Djen Djen de b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d\u2019une superficie de 76 ha rien que pour les conteneurs, et pouvoir ainsi se conformer aux normes internationales.<\/p>\n

Selon M. Bouab, la priorit\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 donn\u00e9e au terminal de conteneurs, dont la premi\u00e8re tranche du projet sera r\u00e9ceptionn\u00e9e d\u00e9but juillet courant, et qui concerne un quai de 14 m de profondeur et 322 m de longueur, pouvant recevoir des navires transportant 6000 conteneurs, ce qui repr\u00e9sente le volume le plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 pour la r\u00e9ception de navires conteneurs au niveau national.<\/p>\n

Cette performance, ajoute le PDG, \u00abpermettra d\u2019\u00e9conomiser pr\u00e8s de 100 dollars par conteneur, ce qui nous fera gagner pour une quantit\u00e9 d\u2019un million de conteneurs, pas moins de 100 millions de dollars annuellement\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Concernant les volumes d\u2019exportation du port de Djen Djen, le premier responsable de cette infrastructure a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 qu\u2019une \u00e9volution significative a \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9e durant les cinq derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es. En chiffres, le m\u00eame responsable a indiqu\u00e9 qu\u2019en 2018, le port a export\u00e9 pour seulement 10 000 t, alors qu\u2019\u00e0 la fin 2023, le port a pu exporter 3,7 millions de tonnes de marchandises hors hydrocarbures.<\/p>\n

Par ailleurs, le responsable n\u2019a pas manqu\u00e9 de mettre l\u2019accent sur l\u2019importance du port de Djen Djen au niveau r\u00e9gional, notamment dans les \u00e9changes commerciaux au profit des pays africains, soulignant que le port offre l\u2019avantage d\u2019acheminer la marchandise vers ces pays en seulement cinq jours, alors qu\u2019au niveau des autres ports, cette op\u00e9ration dure plus de 20 jours, et ceci \u00abgr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la modernisation et \u00e0 l\u2019extension en cours de r\u00e9alisation du port\u00bb, a-t-il assur\u00e9.<\/p>\n
