MOREZ – HORLOGERIE
\nL\u2019horloge comtoise de Miliana sonne de nouveau, http:\/\/www.leprogres.fr\/jura\/2016\/01\/…<\/p>\n

Deux Alg\u00e9riens passionn\u00e9s ont r\u00e9par\u00e9 une horloge comtoise datant de 1840 \u00e0 Miliana, leur ville d\u2019origine.<\/p>\n

Deux dentistes alg\u00e9riens passionn\u00e9s de m\u00e9canique horlog\u00e8re, Brazzi Toufik et Houatmi lotfi, ont fait une d\u00e9couverte extraordinaire dans leur ville de Miliana (Alg\u00e9rie). Ils ont trouv\u00e9 une horloge jurassienne fabriqu\u00e9e \u00e0 Morez, datant de 1840 et portant la marque Francis Paget, repreneur de la partie horlogerie des Ets Prost en 1910.<\/p>\n

Envoi de manuels d\u2019entretien<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cette horloge, qui a sonn\u00e9 jusqu\u2019en 1997, est install\u00e9e dans la tour de la ville de l\u2019ancienne mosqu\u00e9e Elbathaa, dont la salle de pri\u00e8re a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9truite lors de la colonisation fran\u00e7aise en 1840.<\/p>\n

Ces deux amis ont donc d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de faire revivre cette horloge. Depuis le mois de novembre, ils occupent tous leurs week-ends \u00e0 la nettoyer et \u00e0 la graisser. L\u2019Association de protection des horlogeries monumentales \u00ab L\u2019Horlogerie comtoise \u00bb contact\u00e9e leur a envoy\u00e9 des manuels d\u2019entretien qui les ont aid\u00e9s dans leur r\u00e9novation.<\/p>\n

Une inscription datant de 1918<\/strong><\/p>\n

Au bout de sept semaines, le 26 d\u00e9cembre 2015 \u00e0 19 heures, l\u2019horloge a sonn\u00e9 et ce fut un moment inoubliable \u00e0 Miliana. La population \u00e9merveill\u00e9e est rest\u00e9e longtemps \u00e0 \u00e9couter ces cloches.<\/p>\n

Lors de leurs recherches, les deux restaurateurs ont d\u00e9couvert une inscription sur la porte en bois datant de 1918 : \u00ab Mr Dumont Bernard le 5 janvier 1918 \u00bb, ce qui implique que sa mise en place date d\u2019avant 1918.<\/p>\n

Un syst\u00e8me de remontage \u00e9lectro-m\u00e9canique a \u00e9t\u00e9 install\u00e9 plus tard en 1932.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ils ont confi\u00e9 le remontage de cette horloge \u00e0 trente-six heures \u00e0 un technicien en attendant de refaire le m\u00e9canisme de remontage \u00e9lectrique.<\/p>\n

Une horloge cit\u00e9e par Alphonse Daudet<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00ab Pour \u00eatre plus libres, nous avons financ\u00e9 enti\u00e8rement la r\u00e9paration et le changement de cadran, soit 300 euros, bien s\u00fbr avec l\u2019aval du maire M. Thabet \u00bb, explique M. Lotfi.
