Cette alchimique po\u00e9sie populaire en arabe maghr\u00e9bin, b\u00e9douine ou citadine, transcrite sous une forme litt\u00e9raire peu conforme \u00e0 la structure m\u00e9trique de la po\u00e9sie classique. Une po\u00e9sie singuli\u00e8re, riche, sensuelle et mystique \u00e0 la fois<\/p>\n<p>On peut donc dire que le melhoun est historiquement alg\u00e9ro-marocain, et singuli\u00e8rement alg\u00e9rien, typiquement de l\u2019Oranie. Raviver alors la m\u00e9moire de ses grands bardes, c\u2019est \u00e9voquer n\u00e9cessairement une m\u00e9moire du melhoun partag\u00e9e entre les peuples alg\u00e9rien et marocain, mais en particulier \u00e9rig\u00e9e en art complexe par les po\u00e8tes particuli\u00e8rement inspir\u00e9s de l\u2019Ouest alg\u00e9rien<\/p>\n<p>Cheikh Amar Ezzahi, ic\u00f4ne lumineuse du chaabi, qui aura chant\u00e9 le r\u00e9pertoire partag\u00e9 du melhoun, fut une synth\u00e8se artistique de ce sublime registre po\u00e9tique. Le troubadour du quartier alg\u00e9rois de Sidi Abderrahmane, a donc chant\u00e9 en m\u00eame temps les trouv\u00e8res alg\u00e9riens et les chantres marocains du genre. \u00c0 commencer par le monumental Alg\u00e9rien Sidi Lakhdar Benkhlouf.<\/p>\n<p>Et comment ne pas s\u2019\u00e9mouvoir sans cesse en re\u00e9coutant Amar Ezzahi chanter, entre autres, avec sa voix chaude du miel de la tendresse, Maychali, Ana A\u00e2chqi Adraoui, Sellem Ya Men Lem Fel H\u2019wa ou encore Ya Bdour Ezine El Meknoune ?<\/p>\n<p>Il y a donc les rhapsodes marocains dont la liste ne saurait \u00eatre contenue dans une modeste chronique de journaliste. Et il y a aussi, noblesse po\u00e9tique oblige, les amants des muses alg\u00e9riens, dont le plus grand de tous, Sidi Lakhdar Benkhelouf Lakhal, merveilleux pan\u00e9gyriste du Proph\u00e8te auquel il d\u00e9dia l\u2019essentiel de son art. Dans son \u0153uvre, scintille de mille feux El A\u00e2\u2019qiqya, une longue qcida pour les Lieux Saints. Cet incomparable m\u00e9nestrel fut le grand ma\u00eetre d\u2019autres troubadours alg\u00e9riens comme Ahmed Bentriki et Mohamed Bna Msayeb. On doit notamment au premier Abouya hnini tab qelbi men qoulette la la. Dans cette lign\u00e9e prestigieuse, figure \u00e9galement Cheikh Bettobdji Abdelkader de Mostaganem, auteur de Lellah ya h\u2019li a-\u00e2adhrouni et le splendide beyt we syah Ah ya ouelfi.<\/p>\n<p>Et comment ne pas citer aussi l\u2019Alg\u00e9rois, dont la po\u00e9sie est d\u2019or pur cousue, Cheikh Mohamed Ben Isma\u00efl, cr\u00e9ateur de la mythique Ya ilahi weltof ya del krim bia, mais pas seulement ? Mention sp\u00e9ciale d\u2019autre part \u00e0 Cheikh Ben Omar, surnomm\u00e9 El Hadbi (le bossu), producteur de la tr\u00e8s suggestive Tlata zahwa wemraha men h\u2019wa h\u2019oum mani sahi. Et, bien s\u00fbr, dans le registre du po\u00e9tique merveilleux, Mohamed Ben\u2019Msayeb, le Tlemcenien aux racines andalouses, qui aurait compos\u00e9 quelque 3 000 po\u00e8mes, dont le providentiel Ya ahl Allah ghithou el melhouf. Et, parmi tant d\u2019autres compositions, la mystique et divine Ya l\u2019Wahdani. Lui reviennent aussi, de plein droit artistique, Ya a\u00e2chaq ezzine, Men sab m\u00e2a elmlih fardja, Men ne\u2019houa rouhi ourahti, Fadh elwahch a\u00e2liy, Kif a\u00e2mali ouhilti, El horm ya Rassoul Allah, Anaya barrani ghrib, Nari w\u2019qourhti we sbeb el qelb el hzine, ou bien Zora ya a\u00e2chqine zora.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le sillage de Ben\u2019Msayeb, Boum\u00e9diene Ben Mohamed Bensahla, lui aussi de Tlemcen. Tel le grand po\u00e8te arabe Omar Ibnou Rabi\u00e2a, Bensahla fut un homme \u00e0 femmes dont il loua l\u2019amour \u00e0 lui g\u00e9n\u00e9reusement offert ! Et c\u2019est \u00e0 toutes ces belles Tlemceniennes qu\u2019il offrit sa fameuse qcida Nabouni roudou el djwab. Parmi ces sir\u00e8nes de beaut\u00e9, il y eut en particulier Fatma \u00e0 laquelle il composa Youm el kh\u00e9mis wach eddani, Oueld ettir, M\u2019dhebel l\u00e2ayan et Sidi men yssel aala kahl el \u00e2ayn. Il fut tout aussi bien inspir\u00e9 en tissant les trames de Baghi n\u2019djaour El Mustapha, Wahd el gh\u2019zal rit el youm, Char\u00e2a Allah ya lahbab et Ya dhaou \u00e2ayani.<\/p>\n<p>Et dire qu\u2019Amar Ezzahi transcrivait phon\u00e9tiquement ces po\u00e8mes complexes en lettres latines pour mieux les d\u00e9clamer en arabe maghr\u00e9bin, avec une clart\u00e9 et une pr\u00e9cision \u00e9poustouflantes !
