La cha\u00eene Canal Alg\u00e9rie a retrouv\u00e9 les images du concert du c\u00e9l\u00e8bre auteur de la chanson \u00ab\u00a0Ne me quitte pas\u00a0\u00bb, quand il s\u2019est produit \u00e0 Zeralda. Les images avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 tourn\u00e9es par le r\u00e9alisateur Moussa Haddad. Le service des archives qui est en train de num\u00e9riser toutes les bandes cin\u00e9ma qui \u00e9taient stock\u00e9es dans le b\u00e2timent du 21 Boulevard des martyrs est tomb\u00e9 sur \u00a0une p\u00e9pite d\u2019or: Le Concert de Jacques Brel juste apr\u00e8s l\u2019ind\u00e9pendance.<\/p>\n

Le chanteur Belge \u00e9tait un ami de l\u2019Alg\u00e9rie, d\u00e9j\u00e0 lors de sa \u00a0visite en Alg\u00e9rie en 1954, il fut contact\u00e9 par les dirigeants du C.R.U.A (qui deviendra plus tard le F.L.N) qui lui ont expos\u00e9 la justesse de leur combat pour la libert\u00e9. Jacques Brel a montr\u00e9 bien sa compr\u00e9hension. Ce qui a d\u00e9rang\u00e9 certains ultras au courant de cette entrevue, et qui avaient longuement scand\u00e9\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0Alg\u00e9rie Fran\u00e7aise\u00a0\u00bbau cours de son concert \u00e0 Alger\u00a0; il a eu simplement cette r\u00e9ponse:\u00ab\u00a0je m\u00b4en fous, je suis Belge\u00a0\u00bb.<\/strong>
\nC\u00b4est durant cette visite qu\u00b4il a rencontr\u00e9 Jojo, Georges Pasquier de son vrai nom qui exer\u00e7ait dans le p\u00e9trole au Sahara. Il abandonnera sa carri\u00e8re pour l\u00b4amiti\u00e9 de Brel\u00a0; amiti\u00e9 que beaucoup compareront \u00e0 celle de Damon et Pythias de l\u00b4antiquit\u00e9. Jojo deviendra le confident de Brel, son chauffeur, son r\u00e9gisseur, son homme de confiance, son ami le plus proche et le plus intime.
\nEn 1956 et en pleine guerre d\u00b4Algerie, Brel \u00e9crira et composera\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0Quand on a que l\u00b4amour<\/i><\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb, chanson qui sera reprise aux Etats-Unis:\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0if we only have love\u00a0\u00bb dans les manifestations contre la guerre du Vietnam. En 1959, il \u00e9crira et composera sa c\u00e9l\u00e8bre\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0Colombe\u00a0\u00bb, chanson anti-militariste contre la guerre d\u2019Alg\u00e9rie\u00a0; chanson qui sera reprise elle aussi aux Etats-Unis par la c\u00e9l\u00e8bre Joan Baez et juddy Collins toujours en opposition \u00e0 la guerre du Vietnam.\u00a0 D\u00e9s l\u2019ind\u00e9pendance en 1963, il est invit\u00e9 en Alg\u00e9rie pour offrir aux alg\u00e9riens et \u00e0 quelques coop\u00e9rants \u00e9trangers son plus beau concert \u00e0 Z\u00e9ralda, consid\u00e9r\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque comme la station baln\u00e9aire de la capitale.\u00a0<\/span>Hommage au grand Brel!<\/p>\n
