ALGER – Le ma\u00eetre de la chanson cha\u00e2bi, Amar Ezzahi, disparu en 2016 \u00e0 l’\u00e2ge de 75 ans, aura l\u00e9gu\u00e9 une \u0153uvre musicale\u00a0 exceptionnelle par sa richesse et sa diversit\u00e9 durant ses 50 ans de carri\u00e8re.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

R\u00e9put\u00e9 pour sa discr\u00e9tion, et ses grandes valeurs humaines, Amar Ezzahi, Amar A\u00eft Za\u00ef de son vrai nom, a d\u00e9but\u00e9 sa carri\u00e8re \u00e0 la fin des ann\u00e9es 60.<\/p>\n

Disparu le 30 novembre 2016, “Cheikh Leblad” comme l’ont surnomm\u00e9 ses innombrables fans, aura l\u00e9gu\u00e9 une \u0153uvre musicale empreinte d’un “style” particulier, et compos\u00e9e essentiellement d’enregistrements de f\u00eates familiales qu’il avait choisi d’animer exclusivement depuis sa derni\u00e8re apparition sur sc\u00e8ne, en 1987.\u00a0 De la chansonnette avec les textes du compositeur Mahboub Bati, jusqu’aux pi\u00e8ces du Melhoun (po\u00e9sie populaire) dont il exhume les tr\u00e9sors, Ezzahi aura impos\u00e9 un style fait d’improvisations, de virtuosit\u00e9 musicale et d’interpr\u00e9tation qui lui vaudra le surnom de “Soltane Lehwa” (Roi des airs musicaux).<\/p>\n

Cette aisance avec les changements de rythme et de mode, mais aussi dans l’interpr\u00e9tation, lui a \u00e9t\u00e9 inspir\u00e9e par ceux qu’il consid\u00e9rait lui-m\u00eame comme des mentors, avec qui il a beaucoup collabor\u00e9 et appris, Boudjem\u00e2a El Ankis, Mahboub Bati et Mohamed El Badji.<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

“Soltane Lehwa” aura surtout contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 ouvrir le cha\u00e2bi sur d’autres genres, musique classique, bande originale de film et m\u00eame vari\u00e9t\u00e9 fran\u00e7aise font leur apparition dans ses morceaux avec une sonorit\u00e9 locale.<\/p>\n

Dans un des rares entretien accord\u00e9 au regrett\u00e9 Hamid Kechad de la Radio alg\u00e9rienne \u00e0 la fin des ann\u00e9es 1980,\u00a0 Amar Ezzahi avait fait part de son go\u00fbt prononc\u00e9 pour la musique andalouse et la musique classique universelle, des genres qu’il a r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 int\u00e9grer harmonieusement \u00e0 sa propre vision du cha\u00e2bi appuy\u00e9 par des textes, parfois rares, de grands po\u00e8tes.<\/p>\n

De grands noms de la musique cha\u00e2bi, \u00e0 l’image de Mehdi Tamache, Abderrahmane El Kobi, Abdelkader Chaou, ou encore Kamel Fardjallah consid\u00e8rent Amar Ezzahi comme un artiste qui a sublim\u00e9 les bases de ce genre tout en restant modeste et populaire.<\/p>\n
