JOHANNESBOURG – Le ministre des Finances Enoch Godongwana a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que l’Alg\u00e9rie ferait probablement partie du prochain groupe de pays \u00e0 rejoindre les BRICS (Br\u00e9sil, Russie, Inde, Chine et Afrique du Sud).<\/span><\/p>\n

C’est apr\u00e8s que les dirigeants des BRICS se soient mis d’accord sur la premi\u00e8re phase de l’expansion du bloc, apr\u00e8s \u00eatre parvenus \u00e0 un consensus sur les crit\u00e8res pour les nouveaux \u00c9tats membres.<\/span><\/p>\n

L\u2019Argentine, l\u2019\u00c9gypte, l\u2019\u00c9thiopie, l\u2019Iran, l\u2019Arabie saoudite et les \u00c9mirats arabes unis (EAU)\u00a0<\/span>deviendront membres permanents d\u00e9but 2024<\/span><\/a>\u00a0.<\/span><\/p>\n

L’annonce a \u00e9t\u00e9 faite le dernier jour du 15e sommet annuel des BRICS qui s’est tenu \u00e0 Sandton.<\/span><\/p>\n

Il semblerait que davantage de pays soient encore en attente pour rejoindre le bloc des march\u00e9s \u00e9mergents.<\/span><\/p>\n

Godongwana a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que les discussions sur la deuxi\u00e8me phase d’expansion \u00e9taient d\u00e9j\u00e0 en cours.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Je peux vous assurer que l’Alg\u00e9rie entrera dans les BRICS, elle y parviendra. Il y a eu des d\u00e9bats [et] des d\u00e9cisions difficiles o\u00f9 il fallait obtenir un consensus sur les pays \u2013 ils n’ont pu trouver un consensus que dans le d\u00e9lai imparti de 6 pays.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u00ab Il y a un deuxi\u00e8me groupe de pays qui vont \u00eatre ajout\u00e9s aux BRICS.\u00a0J\u2019esp\u00e8re et je souhaite que l\u2019Alg\u00e9rie en fasse partie.<\/span><\/p>\n

R\u00c9SULTATS DU SOMMET ET INFLUENCE DE LA CHINE ET DE LA RUSSIE<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

L’analyste des relations internationales John Streamlau a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que les r\u00e9sultats du sommet des BRICS constituent un indicateur fort de l’influence de la Chine et de la Russie sur le bloc.<\/span><\/p>\n

Au cours du sommet de trois jours, les dirigeants des BRICS ont adopt\u00e9 une nouvelle d\u00e9claration visant \u00e0 renforcer les relations \u00e9conomiques et politiques entre les cinq \u00c9tats.<\/span><\/p>\n

Les derni\u00e8res r\u00e9solutions incluent une d\u00e9cision massive d\u2019\u00e9largir le groupe de six nouveaux membres et des appels renouvel\u00e9s \u00e0 r\u00e9former les institutions financi\u00e8res mondiales.<\/span><\/p>\n

Il est entendu que la Chine est \u00e0 l\u2019origine de l\u2019inclusion des pays du Moyen-Orient dans le bloc, notamment l\u2019\u00c9gypte et l\u2019Iran.<\/span><\/p>\n

Et ce, alors que les appels \u00e0 la d\u00e9dollarisation ont \u00e9t\u00e9 fortement soutenus par la Russie \u00e0 la suite des sanctions \u00e9conomiques impos\u00e9es pour sa guerre en Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bien que Streamlau ait d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que le bloc semblait pr\u00eat \u00e0 r\u00e9soudre certains des probl\u00e8mes politiques et \u00e9conomiques auxquels sont confront\u00e9s les pays du Sud, il admet que la dynamique reste complexe.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab Nous sommes toujours dans un monde d\u2019\u00c9tats souverains et les \u00c9tats souverains agiront dans leurs propres int\u00e9r\u00eats nationaux et il est toujours difficile de concilier ces int\u00e9r\u00eats nationaux d\u2019une mani\u00e8re v\u00e9ritablement politique et significative.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab Vous pouvez toujours annoncer ces grands projets d\u2019engagements en faveur de l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 souveraine et de l\u2019int\u00e9grit\u00e9 territoriale \u2013 nous l\u2019avons entendu \u00e0 plusieurs reprises et pourtant, la Russie va accueillir le prochain sommet et la Russie a envahi un voisin souverain, l\u2019Ukraine, en 2022. \u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n
