We welcome this evening Mr. Said Ayachi, president of the Algerian Committee of Support to the Sahrawi People (CNASPS)
The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, sent a message of good wishes to the Sahrawi President, Brahim Ghali, on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), in which he reiterated Algeria’s “constant” support for the Sahrawi cause.
“It is my pleasure, at a time when you will celebrate the 46th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), to express to you and to the Polisario Front leadership my best wishes,” the President wrote in his message.
“The foundation of the SADR on 27 February 1976 was an important milestone in the struggle of the valiant Sahrawi people to regain their legitimate national rights. The Sahrawi people have been able to win broad international support by insisting on the struggle for self-determination and the recovery of their sovereignty,” the Head of State added in his message.
“I would also like, on this happy occasion, to reiterate Algeria’s full solidarity with your cause as well as its unwavering support for the right of the legitimate Sahrawi people to self-determination and independence, while reaffirming our willingness to work together to further strengthen fraternal and cooperative relations between our two brotherly countries for the benefit of the aspirations of our peoples for peace, security, progress and well-being,” the message from the President of the Republic reads.
